Dr. Talwar earned his medical degree at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident in neurology and child neurology at the University of Minnesota Hospitals/Clinics where he also completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology.
Dr. Talwar is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Neurology with special qualification in child neurology, the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology and in clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
He is Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, Departments of Pediatrics and Neurology. Dr. Talwar is currently on the staff of Tucson Medical Center, University Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Children’s Clinic for Rehabilitation Services. Dr. Talwar has been a pediatric neurologist in Tucson since 1995 and has been with the Center for Neurosciences since 2006 when Pediatric Neurology Associates and Neurological Associates of Tucson merged to form the current group practice.
