Dr. Elizabeth Katz is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who specializes in the dental care of infants, children, and those with Special Medical Needs. Her compassionate personality allows both patients and parents to feel comfortable at their dental appointments. Dr. Katz strives to offer personalized and specialized care to her patients. Dr. Katz has a passion for good old fashioned care by establishing relationships with her patients and their families. She is trained in multiple aspects of Pediatric Dentistry that include but are not limited to preventative care, restorative treatment, growth and development, early orthodontic therapy, non-pharmacological and pharmacological behavior guidance techniques to name a few.

Dr. Katz is originally from Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. Dr. Katz received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA with Honors in Pediatric Dentistry. Right after dental school, Dr. Katz completed a three year residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Afterwards, she completed the series of examinations to become a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.

After graduation, Dr. Katz decided to move back to Tucson after her fond memories of its beauty and warm people during her college years. Dr. Katz has practiced and taught at clinics in Tucson and Green Valley and private practices in Oro Valley and Tucson. Dr. Katz serves on staff at Banner UMC, where she cares for the hematology and oncology inpatient patients. When Dr. Katz is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son. She has one dog very fluffy dog named Luna and one cubby cat named Leo. Dr. Katz also enjoys traveling, skiing, baking, running, restorative/yin yoga, open water swimming, and going to Let’s Sweat.
