Dr. Esparza joined Old Pueblo Anesthesia in 1993 after completing anesthesiology residency at the University of Arizona. He has made pediatric care a routine part of his practice since beginning his career and completed his Pediatric Anesthesia Subspecialty Certification when it became available in 2014. 

Luis graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Chemical engineering and went to work for Exxon Co, USA. After five years, he traded in his work boots for a white coat and completed medical school at UCLA School of Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking and practicing Wing Chun Gung Fu, a Chinese martial art.
