Dr. Richards has been a neonatologist in Tucson for 26 years. She attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for undergraduate and medical training. Pediatric residency followed at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities is also where she did her fellowship training in neonatology. She then returned to the Southwest, where she has been working at Tucson Medical Center, TMC for Children division. This was initially with the University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics, she remains an assistant clinical professor at the College of Medicine. Dr. Richards is also the Medical Director of Children’s Services and the NICU at TMC for Children. Her interest is in nutrition and developmental concerns for the smallest of patients. She and her husband have raised 3 children to adulthood.
