Dr. Songsiri Chanvitayapongs, MD joined Old Pueblo Anesthesia in October 2005. She was valedictorian of her high school class in 1993 and finished a combined 8 year undergraduate/medical school program at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001. Her transitional year/anesthesiology residency was completed at the University of Iowa-Iowa City in 2005.  

Dr. Songsiri Chanvitayapongs has been board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology since 2006. She is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists. 

Dr. Songsiri Chanvitayapongs has special interests in Pediatric Anesthesia, Obstetrics Anesthesia and Regional Anesthesia for Orthopedic Surgery. On her free time, she is involved with community philanthropic work with her oldest daughter in the National Charity League of Tucson, she volunteers as room mom for her youngest daughter’s classroom, and she enjoys trips to Thailand to visit her family.
